NICK DANIELS

Nick is an Advanced PGA Qualified Professional and
The Director of Golf at Machynys.
Nick joined the team of PGA Professionals in 2014 and has a wealth of experience in Golf Coaching and Club Operations & Management.
He ensures that the highest of Operational standards are maintained day-to-day around the Resort to ensure Guest & Member satisfaction.
Nick currently holds the status of PGA Manager & Professional with The Professional Golfers Association and member of Club Managers Association of Europe.
RHYS MATTHEWS
GOLF OPERATIONS MANAGER
Rhys joined the team at Machynys in 2018 and oversees the daily operations in the professional shop. He is an invaluable member of the team at Machynys bringing extensive experience from his position at Cardiff football club.
Rhys is passionate about ensuring members and visitors enjoy their time at Machynys and is integral to the success of all society days, events, and tournaments that are held at Machynys.
JORDAN GOLLEY
PGA QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL
Jordan started golf at the age of 4 and has been playing competitively for over 15 years. He’s very passionate about the sport and loves helping others take their game to the next level through coaching in particular junior development .
Jordan has played at the top level of County and Welsh golf, captaining his county for many years and represented Wales on 7 separate occasions including the Boys Home internationals. He turned professional after achieving a handicap of +1, and joined the Machynys team in 2018.
TIM MITCHELL
HEAD OF JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT
Tim Mitchell joined Machynys in 2023 as the Head of Junior Development, returning to the country of his birth where he formerly earned a literature degree and received a golf scholarship at Swansea University.
With over 20 years’ experience as a PGA level III coach, Tim has set up academies in England, Scotland, and Wales; introducing thousands of children and adults to the game of golf; taking them from participation to performance.
Tim’s coaching principles can be found in his book ‘How to coach golf to kids & other humans’ which will be released in 2023.
